Briefing and introduction
Company business in few words
hypcloud is a startup company based in Berlin. The main business model is to provide real estate developers of all sizes with loans to carry out their projects. This happens through connecting borrowers (Real estate developers) with lenders (Banks) over hypcloud platform, where they can chat, upload documents, and manage the whole financing process. The markets of both real-estate development and financing are old-styled and not very welcoming to new technology.
User groups
hypcloud app is being used by three main groups of users:(user journey?)
- Borrowers: our primary users, our product is borrower centric. They are the biggest group in number and also most crucial to serve, if this was Airbnb, those would be the tenants.
Size: small, medium, and big companies. System users: Often males, germans, +40, not usually tech-savvy but could have adequate contact with technology.
- Lenders: Those are the banks and institutions that got capital. size: Big corporations. System users: Often males, germans, older age groups, usually not comfortable with technology.
- Admins: My colleagues from the business team at hypcloud. They keep an eye on all projects, and they have a mediation role between borrowers and lenders. So far they have been only males, Germans, +40, ok with technology but very familiar with our product.
Useful contextual terminologies
- Project: the standard user workflow where they get to fill in financing requirements and project details.
- Workspace: a sub-space in the project space, where a borrower gets to curry on discussions, assign tasks, and upload files for lenders, each lender has a separate workspace.
- Loan management: Another type of projects where borrowers get to manage their after-loan cycle of paying back and so on.
- Tasks: a feature offered at all levels (Project, workspaces, loan management) where a user can create a task (could be a reminder, a file upload request, etc...) and assign it either for themselves or for other members of the selected space.
